Deputy Directors

The Institute on Aging’s inaugural Deputy Directors were selected through a nomination and election process. Nominees submitted statements of interest describing their experience, perspectives, and vision for the Institute. The Internal Advisory Committee reviewed the candidate statements and elected the five Deputy Directors featured below.

Serving alongside IOA Co-Directors Christin Burd, Ashley Rosko, and Carolyn Presley, the Deputy Directors bring expertise across aging research, clinical care, brain health, medication safety, and community engagement. Together, they support interdisciplinary collaboration and the Institute’s mission to improve the way we age.
