Aging Biomarkers Core Facility
The Aging Biomarkers Core (ABC) works closely with basic, clinical, population and translational researchers to create, manage and execute aging biomarker studies. We can assist with protocol and grant design, assay development, biomarker measurement and data interpretation.
Buckeye Brain Aging Lab
The Buckeye Brain Aging Lab (B-BAL), directed by Dr. Scott Hayes, investigates how modifiable lifestyle factors, including physical fitness, gait, balance, sleep, and nutrition, influence cognitive function and brain health in aging and neurodegenerative disease.
Neuroscience Research Institute Brain Bank and Biorepository (NRI-BBB)
The NRI-BBB is a state-of-the-art resource at The Ohio State University that supports innovative neuroscience research and clinical studies. The NRI-BBB collects, processes, and stores a wide range of biospecimens, including cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), blood, surgical tissues, biopsy specimens, and postmortem brain tissue, enabling translational research across neurological and neurodegenerative diseases.
