Yinan Zhang, MD

Assistant Professor, Neurology

Biography

I am a neurologist with subspecialty training in multiple sclerosis and related neuro-immunological disorders of the central nervous system. I chose this specialization because MS affects everyone differently and changes with age. It’s a privilege to use my skills to help improve my patients’ lives.

In my practice, I enjoy getting to know each patient. I’m passionate about finding the best treatment strategies possible depending on each patient’s unique needs and disease characteristics.

My research is focused on aging and MS, specifically how clinical and molecular changes related to aging affect disease progression. The goal of my research is to use evidence-based treatment strategies, incorporated with an individual’s aging biology, to improve care for people with MS and optimize their quality of life.

I enjoy spending my free time with my family and building custom Lego creations.
