  • Jennifer Bechtel and Morgan Angles featured for collaboration on aging and dementia

    The Ohio State University College of Medicine has recognized the collaborative work of Jennifer Bechtel and Morgan Angles to reshape perceptions of aging and improve understanding of dementia.

    Their partnership brings together the Office of Geriatrics and Gerontology and the Golden Buckeye Center for Dementia Caregiving. Through education and hands-on simulation, they help health care professionals better understand challenges associated with aging and dementia while building skills to support patients, families and care partners.

  • Olivia Horn Receives F31

    We are delighted to congratulate Olivia Horn, a graduate student mentored by Dr. Scott Hayes, on receiving a prestigious NIH F31 Predoctoral Fellowship Award. This highly competitive award will support Olivia’s research investigating how the balance of daily activities, including physical activity, sedentary behavior, and sleep, influences brain health and cognitive function across adulthood.
